We're passionate about the support and accommodation we provide to over 2,500 people in Somerset and the West of England. Our services help people transform their lives, maintain their independence and tackle social exclusion by creating opportunities to access work, education and training.
How we work
We develop all the services we provide with you (our customers), local authorities and other partners to make sure we meet your needs. Working in partnership with other specialist support providers makes sure we use our resources to the best, to deliver great outcomes and increase opportunities for everyone we support.
We really value working with other organisations to deliver the best available services to you:
We work with Second Step, Missing Link, 1625 Independent People, Bridgwater YMCA, Mendip YMCA, and Taunton Association for the Homeless. Our customers are individuals, with different support needs. So we use a person centred support plan to make sure our services help maintain your independence, and achieve your personal goals.
- Residential, nursing care and supported living
We work in partnership with a range of support providers including Milestones Trust, Brandon Trust, Dimensions and Somerset County Council.
- Short breaks
Our partners, Kids and North Somerset Council, deliver short breaks and activity centres for disabled children and young people from our buildings.
We work in partnership with a range of specialist providers who deliver housing management and support services on our behalf. Many of these partners deliver specialist mental health, drug and alcohol and offenders services.
Who do we support?
We provide housing and support to lots of different people, including those of you who are:
- Teenage parents or young and leaving care, in need of employment, education and training
- Older and need help to live independently
- In need of help with learning difficulties, mental health, physical and sensory impairment or to overcome addiction
- Gypsy and Travellers
- Victims of domestic abuse.
