Our support service for young people facing homelessness has a new location

19 May 2015

The Pathways to Independence (P2i) Hub, which we run in Yeovil, has moved to a new location in the town today.

The P2i Hub, which has been in operation since 2013, has moved to a new premises at 128 Hendford Hill. The Hub also has a new phone number: 01935 421025

The hub provides support services to vulnerable young people, aged 16 to 24, who are homeless or at risk of becoming homeless.

Young people in need of help can access family mediation, housing and housing-related support, as well as support with education, training and budgeting.

Sonia Furzland, our Assistant Director for Supported Housing, said “We don’t want to see our young people on the streets or sofa surfing.

Our goal is to prevent young people in South Somerset from becoming homeless. We help them to stay at home if it’s possible, or support them to access alternative housing, so that they can live safely and independently.”
