Knightstone and Countrywide award winners of gardening competition

05 December 2013

On Tuesday 3 December, staff from Knightstone and Countrywide Grounds Maintenance congratulated residents who won first and second prize in this year’s gardening competition categories, and awarded them with gardening centre vouchers.

The residents were invited to our new office to receive their vouchers from Sonia Key at Knightstone and Sarah Abouzaid from Countrywide. They were also treated to lunch on the day.

The gardening competition took place throughout the summer, and the categories, winners and runners-up were:

‘Most improved garden’

Winner – Ms Dawn Clode from Little Stoke, South Gloucestershire

Runner-up – Mrs Biddiscombe from Bridgwater

‘Best flowerbed’

Winner – residents of Geen House in Bridgwater (pictured above)

Runners-up – Mr and Mrs Perrins from Martock

Sonia Key, our Senior Tenancy and Estate Services Manager said, ‘It was great to see so many of our residents from across the region getting involved in this competition. Congratulations to our winners.

We saw some fantastic gardens and flowerbeds, and it was great to raise awareness of how important it is to keep our gardens tidy and in good condition.’
