Coming together with DCH

In May, we announced that we’re in talks with Devon and Cornwall-based housing association, DCH, to merge to become one brand new organisation.
The new organisation would manage more than 35,000 homes from Gloucestershire to the Isles of Scilly. Our geography fits well with little overlap, and while both are successful organisations, committed to building safe and vibrant communities, we believe together we can be even stronger and more resilient.
Bringing us both together we’d be able to reduce our operating costs, using these savings to build more, much-needed homes in the South West. The new organisation would be able to create new communities, with the capacity to deliver 15,000 new homes over the next ten years, which is more than we’d be able to do on our own.
Home is at the heart of what we do. As a more efficient organisation, we’d be better placed to continue to invest in our existing homes and communities, at the same time as developing our digital offer so you’re able to engage with us online, in more ways, at a time that suits you.

We've recently completed our customer consultation hearing the views of more than 2,000 people living in our homes.

What does this mean for you?

We’re really excited about this, but we appreciate you’ll have lots of questions about what this means for you. We’ve answered some of your initial queries in our FAQs here.
