Competition rules

In our KnightLife competitions, we ask for your full name and address but we only need it to send you your prize if you happen to be the lucky winner.

Only Knightstone Housing Association has access to your personal details and we never pass them on to anyone else without your permission.

1. You must provide the required details if you wish to enter the competition.

2. Entries must be submitted to the correct postal or email address.

3. Entries for both competitions on ‘BrainPower’ page 10 must be received by 5pm on Tuesday 31 August 2010. The draw will take place on Wednesday 1 September 2010 and the winners will be notified before Friday 10 September 2010.

4. Entry is strictly limited to one per person. Proof of posting is not proof of receipt and Knightstone accepts no responsibility for late or lost entries.

5. The competition winner(s) will be contacted personally. In the event of there being no reply from the contact details supplied, Knightstone reserves the right to offer the prize(s) to a runner up or withhold it for use in another competition.

6. Unless otherwise stated, Knightstone competitions are only open to UK residents. Sometimes a competition will have a lower maximum age, this maximum will be stated when the competition is launched. Knightstone reserves the right to request proof of age if necessary.

7. Where a competition asks for some kind of submission (for example a story or piece of artwork) it must be entirely your own work and its originality will be taken into account by the judges. By contributing your work to Knightstone, you agree to grant us the right to publish and use the material in all media for all purposes in connection with the competition. Please note that entries cannot be returned.

8. Prizes must be taken as stated and cannot be deferred. There will be no cash alternatives.

9. Players must comply with all rules to be eligible for the prizes. Ineligible entries or entries made fraudulently will be automatically disqualified.

10. This competition is not open to employees or contractors of Knightstone or any person directly or indirectly involved in the organisation or running of the competition, or their direct family members.

11. Knightstone's decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into.

12. Knightstone reserves the right to cancel the competition at any stage, if deemed necessary in its opinion, and if circumstances arise outside of its control.

13. Entrants will be deemed to have accepted these rules and to agree to be bound by them when entering this competition. Entrants may be asked to take part in post competition publicity.

14. This agreement is governed by the laws of England and Wales.

15. Competitions are administered by Knightstone.

If you have any questions please email us on the address above.
