Our Tenancy Enforcement Officer, Paul Reilly, has been named Practitioner of the Year

19 November 2014

Paul Reilly, one of our Tenancy Enforcement Officers, has received a commendation in the Tim Winter 'Practitioner of the Year' award for his fantastic work in the role.

Paul received the commendation at the Social Landlords’ Crime and Nuisance Group (SLCNG) national awards which took place last week.

The SLCNG awards provide deserved recognition for the outstanding contribution of tenants, housing officers, anti-social behaviour practitioners and their partners in resolving anti-social behaviour and making communities safer.

Our Tenancy Enforcement Manager, Amanda Truscott, who attended the conference will Paul, praised his commitment and dedication to our Tenancy Enforcement service.

Amanda said, “Paul’s work ethic and positive ‘can do’ approach are exceptional. His commitment to helping the victims of crime and anti-social behaviour frequently takes him above and beyond what is expected of him in his role and we feel he is truly deserving of recognition of this sterling attitude.

“There are many examples of Paul’s hard work and dedication. For example, Paul was instrumental in ensuring a resident with mental ill health received the medication he needed from the Mental Health Team in his area. There have since been no reported cases of disruption caused by the resident.

“Paul was also pivotal in arranging a door knocking exercise with another housing association to visit a larger number of residents who were being affected by gang-related crimes in Gloucester. This gave much needed support and reassurance to the residents whose lives had been blighted by recent events in and around their community.”

A big well done to Paul from all of us at Knightstone!
