We're opening the door on a new era at Knightstone
We've opened our new office in the Weston Gateway Business Park, Weston-super-Mare, this week. This is a significant move for us, as we've been working on a major transformational change programme since 2011.
The move sees us replace six offices across the south west with one high performance building. This enables us to make significant cost savings which will be reinvested in new homes, improved services and stronger communities.
300 of our staff will be based at the new hub, with a further 100 becoming field-based workers, taking services directly to people in their homes and communities across Somerset and the West of England.
Nick Horne, Chief Executive of Knightstone, said ‘Our priority is to give our residents and customers a great service. Combined with our investment in brand new technologies to support our field workers, this move will ensure that we can do just that.
We’re really pleased to be opening this office in North Somerset, which is where it all began for Knightstone. The Weston Gateway Business Park is an excellent location in a growing area of investment.’
To complement our new ways of working, the move to our new office has been combined with the launch of a new look and website for the organisation, and the rebranding of our homeownership services, formerly Nectar Homes, under the main Knightstone brand.
Melissa Escott, Head of Communications at Knightstone, said ‘We’ve given ourselves a fresh coat of paint to strengthen our brand; one that our staff, residents and customers respect and trust. Our new look sums up our values, our commitment to our residents and our communities, and the difference we make to people’s lives.
We’re really excited about our new look, and hope our residents and customers like it too.’
We're already investing £1.5 million of cost savings per year in our homes and communities across Somerset and the West of England.
