Chairman of Sedgemoor District Council officially opens 62 new, affordable homes in Highbridge

On Friday, the Chairman of Sedgemoor District Council, Cllr Ian Dyer, cut the ribbon to officially open 62 new homes at Morland Chase in Highbridge, joined by the Mayor of Burnham and Highbridge, Cllr Michael Clarke.

We've named our new train and build scheme for military veterans

We're delighted to announce that our new train and build scheme at our old Lawrence Court offices in Worle is to be named Poppy Court. The new name was chosen by the veterans involved and represents their exciting new futures whilst remembering the past.

Our Social Impact Report for 2015-16 is here! This is our second report looking at the positive impact of our Individual and Community Empowerment service on both our residents and our communities.
Our “new look” Resident Engagement service

We’ve been looking at ways to improve how we engage with our residents. We did a consultation by email with residents and had over 300 responses that have helped us to develop our ideas. We’ve now finalised our plan and will launch our new look Resident Engagement service on 1 October 2016.
We’ve held an event in rural Farmborough to celebrate 13 new homes

A ribbon cutting ceremony has taken place at a development of 13 affordable homes in Farmborough, a small village 6 miles south west of Bath.
