Neighbourhood visits

Here's a list of visits we'll make to you or your neighbourhood.
  • New tenant visit
Our Income and Lettings Team will have signed you up to your tenancy or your Neighbourhood Housing Officer will have been involved in your exchange. This visit is carried out between four to six weeks after you move in and is important for us to get to know you, and you us. We use this visit to make sure we give you the right information from the start.
  • Nine month visit
Your Neighbourhood Housing Officer will check everything’s going well for you and your home. We’ll ask what you think of your neighbourhood and, for example what improvements you’d like to see to your neighbourhood. If you’re on a starter tenancy, we hope to change it to assured.
  • Estate Inspection
We have a formal look around the estate throughout the year. You’re welcome to join us on our visits. We like to keep contact with you and listen to your ideas for continuous improvements.
  • Community events
We don’t stop at our routine visits. We’ll work with you as much as possible to make your neighbourhood a great place to live. We’ll also let you know of Resident Involvement opportunities and ways we help each other.
  • When you ask us to
We’ll visit. This could be to help with a problem or give you advice on a neighbourhood related matter. We have specialist teams who can help with everything from anti social behaviour, improvements, repairs and rent or service charge enquiries.

Other ways you can get involved and help us:
  • Local Champions
  • Resident Groups – we can help you set one up
  • Monitor services and let us know how we’re doing
  • Join our growing list of involved residents
