Neighbourhood visits

Housing Officers make regular visits to your neighbourhood.  Here's a list of visits we'll make to you.
  • New tenant visit
Your Tenancy and Estates Housing Officer will have signed you up to your tenancy or will have been involved in your exchange. This visit is carried out between four to six weeks after you move in and is important for us to get to know you, and you us. We use this visit to make sure we give you the right information from the start.
  • Estate Inspection
Tenancy and Estates Services Housing Officers carry out regular Estate Inspections on all of our schemes.
We make sure estates are kept clean and tidy and free from any health and safety risks, and our visit is also a good time to look at ideas to improve the area.

We'd welcome your ideas, thoughts and opinions on the upkeep of the scheme, so if you would like to join us on the Estate Inspections please contact your Housing Officer for more information.
  • Community events
We don’t stop at our routine visits. We’ll work with you as much as possible to make your neighbourhood a great place to live. We’ll also let you know of Resident Involvement and Community Empowerment opportunities and ways we help each other.
  • When you ask us to
We’ll visit. This could be to help with a problem or give you advice on a neighbourhood related matter. We have specialist teams who can help with everything from anti social behaviour, improvements, repairs and rent or service charge enquiries.

Other ways you can get involved and help us:
  • Local Champions
  • Resident Groups – we can help you set one up
  • Monitor services and let us know how we’re doing
  • Join our growing list of involved residents
If you're interested in getting involved click the following link to be directed to our Get Involved page: Get Involved
